Diving right in on this one. Skippin the intro.
Also, sorry for such a low quality picture, but hey, did I ask you to judge it?
So, my life has been pretty busy recently. Not that I've had a lot to do or anything, it's just that I have never exactly known where I am supposed to be more than like ten minutes in advance for like the past week. So yeah, that's cool.
Monday was a Service day schedule, as it was MLK Day, and we have to act like we're big on service for that.. Tuesday was a regular schedule. Wednesday was Ski Day, so there was a whole new schedule for that day and the day after as well, and then Friday was different too. Next week is gonna be super different as well, as it's Student Week of Prayer, and they're running a home-leave day on Friday, and the moral of the story is:
My life's a mess.
Also, Bible Camp for next weekend is like 75 bucks, so guess who's not going to that?
*raises hand* Well, you'd be correct sir..
They got soda machines in the dorm now, so that's cool. Cash, card, Apply Pay, they do it all. Get you a soda machine. Or a soda. Either is good I guess...
<<<ON TO THE DEEP THOUGHT>>>
(^^I kinda like what I did up there^^)
I just read a little bit ago somewhere, something about the future, past, and present. Have you ever been asked the question, "If you could go into the past or future, where would you go and why?"
I have. And that being said, I think it's kinda funny that everyone's like, "The future, because the past is fragile. One wrong move or action, and everything could change". And then everybody else is like, "Woaaaahhhhhh" and they talk for hours on end about time travel. Because they're nerds. :P
Not the point. The point for you to think about is: if everybody is so concerned about that, why don't people believe that an act of kindness, or some nice words, or whatever else, can change the future?
You can literally do anything. You could trip and it would change the course of the entire future. Not doing anything changes the future. The color that you paint your nails changes the future. You are making history right now. As you read this. Make it count for something. Please.
*mind blown*
I hope that you guys enjoyed that thought as much as I did.. I had to sit back for a moment and think about my life to be entirely honest..
Other cool facts:
The point of a lock is to turn a door into a wall.
Coffee flavored water sounds gross, but that's exactly what coffee is...
The object of golf is to play the least amount of golf...
Your car keys have traveled further than your car has..
Drinking alcohol is just borrowing happiness from tomorrow..
At age thirty, you have spent a whole month having birthdays..
Fitbits are just like Tamagotchis, except the stupid little creature you have to keep alive is yourself...
So yeah. Those are pretty cool right? The last one is probably my favorite, so I put it at the end.. This post probably isn't going to be super long, but the thoughts that you are bound to have because of this will probably fill up the extra time that you would have spend reading this in the first place, so.. yeah..
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this. Hope and pray that my schedule gets a little less confusing.
Happy Birthday to my friend Josiah S.
I really miss you dude. Please come visit.. You were too cool for this place. We didn't deserve you. For real though. Come back. xD
This is it. This is everything. Adios mi amigos. Until next time :D
