Consist of Consistency

I don't really know if this post will evolve into something else along the way, so if it does, just bear with me, alright?

I'm not going to address how long it's been since I last posted, but it's been a bit. For all of you on the edge of your seats in anticipation of what comes next, get back in your seat. Let's go.

I started working again since I was last here. I don't know how many of you know this, but I picked up the electric guitar a bit ago, and am going hard on that whenever I can. Practice makes progress, right? Plus it makes me feel cooler, so there's that too.

There seems to be a loooooooooooooooooooooot of inconsistency out there nowadays. Everywhere from present politics to work environments to religious organizations to leadership in general. I will cover a couple of these areas in this post, all without stating controversial subject matter regarding any of the said topics.

Example 1: Politics.

It's no secret that politicians on any level of government are not exactly role models. Presidents/presidential candidates, governors, mayors, congress, senate, you name it. Always changing their stuff around. Nobody keeps the promises they make while campaigning. And if you think they do, you're apparently not paying well enough attention. I'm including cops in this section.

We all know the recent tragedy that was the murder of George Floyd by Minnesota police. I'm not delving super deep into this topic, but..... Imagine if non-caucasians were treated as well by cops as caucasians were. You know. If they were consistent across the board. That'd be great.

Example 2: Work Environments

Now, I can't necessarily complain all that much about my current work environment. Past jobs though? People are slacking allllll the time. Or they'll act productive when management is around, and then do nothing when they're not. Like, for gosh sakes. At least be consistent with your work ethic. That way you'll either go further and get more privileges, or you'll be relocated to some place more fitting of your skills, or lack thereof.

Example 3; Religion

I don't even really need to explain this one all that much, because either you're too far gone to see your Pharisee-like behavior, or your already aware of everything I could tell you.

Example 4: Leadership in General

Leadership will always be a big issue, unless it's artificial intelligence. People will always have some sort of bias in their system, even if they say they don't. Again, at the very least, be consistent.

I covered my thoughts on consistency, now for the consist part. What you consist of is what you are made of.

Contrary to apparently popular belief, we're all made up of the same frickin' stuff. Skin, bones, a soul, etc. Sure. We may be different genders, we may be different races, different political parties, different religions, etc, but at the end of the day, We're all made up of the same stuff. Just different life experiences and circumstances. We're all one big human race.

And if we don't frickin start acting like one, I'm gonna open up a can of kick-butt on y'all.

Good grief.
