I Think It's Very Vital

For those of you who pride yourselves in knowing lyric references, you're welcome.

For those of you who have no idea what the title is from or related to, my apologies.

Onward and upward.

So, first of all, I would like to apologize for there having been such a long absence. I don't know if anybody noticed I was gone, but for those who did, sorry... I told a bunch of people that I was going to write over Christmas break, but did that happen? Obviously no.

So, I was gonna tell you what this one was going to be about at the very beginning of the post, but then I figured it would be more fun for you if you were to just read the entire thing in one sitting and not know what was coming next, you know? So let's do this thing.

So, to give you a brief review of my break, I really just worked a whole lot. Yes, of course, there was some stellar time spent with my family around Christmas, nice home-made meals, and all sorts of memories made; as far as the filler time goes between events: work. Which I can't really complain about either. I don't mind what I do, or my co-workers.

Oh, and another update: As far as the children in my family go (me, my brother, and my sisters), 40% of us are engaged now. So yeah. I feel kinda old.

There wasn't really any huge milestones that have happened since I last talked to you all, so you didn't really miss all that much of my life. I'm now in the last semester of my last year of high school, and am very muchly so looking forward to graduation this spring. I have also taken on a roommate, and this situation is already a lot better than I thought it might be.. Not that I thought it would go bad..

SO ON TO THE NEXT ITEM

So, the title kinda insinuates that something in here has to be pretty vital, so I went with a pretty important theme for your deep thought of the day, and along with that went an amazing, and rather beautiful, quote by Matt Thiessen:

It's not that one. Though it is from the same song, it's a little bit further in. It's the part where he says:

If I had one wish Well I don't know what I'd wish for But if I had a million zillion wishes I'd use one to let you know that gibberish is Not a nice way to talk to all your friends

So, I haven't necessarily had a huge problem with this in the past, but we all know what it's like. That one guy who never really means what they say. The one friend that says one thing, but means another. Honestly, don't be one of those people. Don't play games with peoples minds. To quote Maxwell Sheffield from the TV Show 'The Nanny':

"I'm sure somewhere up there, in your head, it makes sense, but you have to remember that we're out here."

We're not up there, so don't make us try to be.

Part 3: Friend Shout-Outs

So, I've been really bad about keeping up with these Friend Shout-Out things, but my New Years Resolution is to be better at them. That's a lie actually... I don't really make New Years Resolutions..

But that's besides the point! Let's goooooooooo.....

Friend Shout-Out To: David S.

What up David? It's Dom-Bomb. I just wanted to let you know that you are one of the coolest dudes I know, and I'm not just saying that either. You're always smiling, and even though you might be a little too tough to admit it, you're a softie at heart. I'll always remember all the times you see me, anywhere, and give me a bro-hug and just let me know, through actions, not words of course, that you care about me, and that I'm a friend. Keep killin it bro. You're the realest. Stay that way.

Friend Shout-Out To: Audley D.

So, you probably don't want this to happen, and you probably don't want to hear from me in general actually haha, but I just thought I would let you know that from what I know about you, you're a really cool dude. I might not have been at any of your Super Smash Parties or whatever you call 'em, but the fact that you even have those says something. Also, I know that you will probably never read this, but I have hopes that somebody will pass it on to you eventually. You deserve to hear this. I'll always remember all the times that I've tried to get you to talk to me, or get fist-bumps, or high-fives, or any recognition at all, and the slow, but steady, progress that I'm making. Keep being you dude. There's not a whole lot of people like you out there, so it would be a shame if you changed now. Stay awesome Audley
