The Most (Adjective) Time of Year

So, I figured I would do a Christmas related post, as it's getting pretty close to that time of year.. So yeah, this is it. Enjoy.
The dormitory that I live in had this great idea of piping Christmas music through to the entire dorm, over the loud speakers, and so now we get to listen to the same eight versions of "The First Noel" on repeat.
I think the lack of popular Christmas songs is due to Santa being able to be rearranged into Satan or somethin' like that... I don't know...
Anyway, so, moving on.
I don't usually write about Christmas, or even think about Christmas this early, so I don't really know what all is different about this time... I mean, there are for SURE different days where I'm really feeling it, and end up going live with my friends, dancing to Christmas music or something, but those days are few and far between..
Not that that's happened either.... Maybe.... (You know who you are) *exaggerated wink*
So, even though you might expect it, I'm not actually going to go into all of the super weird origins of caroling, or the yule log, or the Christmas tree, or anything else like that. Sorry to disappoint. You all know what the stories are behind those.
Although, if you want to, you can always read up on Krampus. That's a fun one.
Also, on the topic of Christmas present ideas, if somebody want's to buy me an actual membership for this site, that would be amazing. That's why some of y'all don't get emails sometimes lol. For real though. It's like five bucks a month or something. Help ya mans out.
Sorry for skipping around so much. I'm just tired. And I'm also just kinda stalling until I can come up with something to write about.
GOT IT.
I'm gonna talk about Christmas presents that I have received in the past. Not necessarily just the nice ones either. So, if you're reading this, and a present you got me is portrayed in a bad light, sorry.
So, I actually regret some things about Christmas lists in the past. I've realized that telling somebody specifically what you want, and then getting it, is actually rea( L x 10^27 )y boring. I love to, instead, just give people really general ideas, and just kind of see what ends up happening. So, any gift's involved with that are automatically bumped down a step or two. Sorry
I love (sarcasm inserted) when people get you things they know pretty darn well you either, A: Don't like, B: Will never use, and/or C: Can't identify without somebody else's help. Those are the worst. It shouldn't take eight peoples explanations for me to figure out what I just unwrapped.
Plus it gets real awkward real quick, because you're not sure if you are thankful for it yet or not, and you're just kind of sitting there silently while their eyes bore into your soul.
Come to think of it, I can't really think of that many things I haven't liked.... Sorry to disappoint...
Let's talk about my family then.
So, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
If you haven't seen that masterpiece of a production, I both pity your soul, and challenge you to watch it this Christmas season. Also, side-note, that's where the post's accompanying picture came from. If you want a shout-out on my next post, find a way to contact me and tell me what Clark Griswold is looking at.
Also, since I'm probably gonna wrap this up like a present, don't forget to subscribe to the whole e-mail thing. Or my Facebook page under the same name. And don't forget to tell others about this too.
Closing story:
So, we were in a meeting, we being the whole school, and one of the faculty, in their talk, said something about his blog he used to run. He was like, "Anybody have a blog here?", and let me tell you, an unexpected number of people called me out and it was slightly terrifying. But, I mean, at least people know about it....
So yeah. Spread the news. If you've only read a few, read the rest. If this is your first time reading my blogging, please don't stop. You guys mean a lot to me. You really do.
I'm closing up shop.
It's been real.
Until next time ma dudes.
