Look To The Sky

Three weeks to the day. Wow I'm getting even worse than I thought possible about this whole timeliness thing... On the bright side, i actually have a set topic for this one..

So, as the name implies, this one is about the sky. More specifically the night sky. More specifically the stars. More specifically constellations. More specifically horoscopes basically.

I've never really believed in the whole horoscope of the day kind of thing, where they're like, "Sagitarrius's will meet the love of their life today", or whatever. That's retarded and more than nine times out of ten, is not true. however, I do believe that when you are born, the night sky, constellations, position of the earth around the sun, and location in regards to other planets, the phase of the moon, all play a part in the development of yourself as a person.

I had never really read up on my own sign, because I guess I never really had a reason to. Recently though, I had a fan suggest this topic, and I, starved of content ideas as I was at the time, jumped at the chance to write again. So I did a little research, and did I find some stuff.

Again, these horoscope things aren't exactly going to tell you the exact moment you meet your Prince Charming. They'll probably tell you what you look for in a Prince Charming though. I read up on mine and found it to be rather on point. Like I was reading about myself. And not just the super vague information either. It was weird. Oddly specific. It tells you what you do, why you do it, who you do it for, and etc. I don't know.

Some people that may be close-minded might try and tell you that leads to astrology and tarot cards and whatever else, but don't believe them. Don't let them make mountains out of molehills. Look at me, I've eaten fortune cookies and I don't exactly own a crystal ball yet. People hear and say what they want I guess.

That's about all I have on the whole astrology thing... That's my point of view.

I'm gonna do some of those good ol' fashioned Friend Shout-Outs I guess. It's only been like, 14 months I think... I just checked and that's a good guess. It's been 13. Anyway, here goessss..

Friend Shout-Out To: Blaine Pearson

Hey Blaine! I don't know if you read these. In case you do, I just wanted to let you know that you're super awesome. Growing up together-ish was a blast. Feeding my cat mac'n'cheese. Jamming out on the homeleave bus to non-glaa-approved-songs. Selling you my brothers iPhone which I dropped on the concrete immediately before handing to you. .-. I hated every second after that last one. Anyways. Just a few of the memories I have of you. Stay awesome. I know you can make it through the rest of the year. Good luck with graduation! Wish I could be there! :) :') Love you dude.

Friend Shout-Out To: Brooklyn Grignon

So I actually don't remember the very first time I met you, although it was probably.... NO WAIT I DO. Camp Sagola. I remember everybody calling you Sherbert. And then different Au Sable weekends and the like, and then eventually GLAA, where I got to be in your class. What a blast. You were always high on life; happy regardless of what was thrown your way; doing spontaneous things like giving me the rest of the contents of that care package because you weren't really interested/didn't care for the rest of the snacks. They were fantastic by the way. And walking on the track together because of similar strides and habits, talking about people and the nonsense they were involved in. Thanks for being there for me, and caring for me and about me, even over grad weekend, what with all the... uh... exciting activities. It means a lot that you care. Love you bro.

I think those are the only two that I'm cranking out tonight. Next time there'll be more I promise. Goodnight guys! Peace out.
