Quaran-Teeny Little Problem (With Huge Effects)

So, I've had to make a few adjustments over this whole quarantine period. Not a lot of adjustments. But a few. Such as: less spending on take-out food, no work, more time outside, healthier eating (kinda goes along with the take-out food part), more time for the things I've been meaning to do, advancement in my hobbies, self-improvement. Altogether it's not a bad lot in life so far. I've kind of been treating this as a good thing. Or I've been trying to at least. I didn't have to wait a month to write another post, so that's a plus too. I've been able to check in with a couple friends and talk with them on a deep level about how they're doing, and if I could help with anything. I could write whatever downsides there are down too, but we don't need all that negativity during this time.
I'm sure you've seen all of the posts on social media over the past little bit about how the earth is healing, and that's super legit. The world could use a little healing. You know how all of the climate change dudes and ladies were like: "We need to make a drastic change soon if the earth is gonna heal at all"? Well, this pandemic had great timing because we're seeing results. I'm willing to sacrifice a couple nice days inside in order to get entire summers worth of nice days when our planet doesn't die.
That being said, people ARE dying still. The numbers aren't exactly plummeting yet either. They're doing kind of the opposite, so strap in, this quarantine thing could last a little bit longer than you'd like. I don't know anybody personally that has Covid-19 (to my knowledge), and I don't have it myself (to my knowledge), but people are losing their loved ones and that sucks. Mothers, fathers, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, etc. I can't even imagine. Those aren't the only casualties either. I know people that have died at their own hands. Whether its because of all of the stress, financial, familial, social, etc.we don't really know. My point isn't that this pandemic is intense, because we all know that. My point isn't that it's affecting all of us, because yeah we're a world united and all that.
The point is that people don't get it.
I don't know if everybodies aware of the protests going on? Because that's a thing apparently. People are protesting quarantine at their states capitols. I don't get it. Sure, we all get the point I'm sure you're trying to make, about how you need the money from work, and how you're bored, and whatever else, but you've gotta remember what's going on with legitimately everybody else in the world. I voted to let a Covid-19 patient loose at the protests and then see if they're against it. Anyway, remember how a while ago there would be Black Lives Matter protests, and then the absolutely insane All Lives Matter things? What's happening now is basically just a "Let Us Back into Society Because No Lives Matter" protest, and that's a concept that I can NOT get behind. Medical professionals know how serious it is, and they've continually communicated that to us throughout this whole series of events.
Think on that, and please.
Take this time seriously.
Being bored beats being dead.
I was gonna do something related to pop culture, or the 80's, or some movie that I'm into, and pull a lesson out of that, but.... that didn't happen. This is more important. Also that's the end of the post. But now that I have more time on my hands, I've got other posts I'm working on writing out, so keep an eye out.
