Save Ferris (Or Me)

Updated: Dec 11, 2018

So. It's been a while hasn't it? Sorry it took so long for me to come out with another post. You know how life is.. Unless you don't? If not, I don't know what YOU'VE been doing with your life, but..... yeah..

APPRECIATE THE FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF GIF

So anyways, on to the actual body of this post. The part where we talk about everything that's been happening recently. Or other fun memories. I actually haven't really figured out where I'm going with this yet, but we'll figure something out I'm sure..

Life has been going pretty... meh I would say. Average day-to-day stuff for the most part.. Still in school. Still don't want to be in school. Still don't know, specifically, what I'll do when I get out though, so maybe it's a good thing that I'm still here? Like Cameron Frye in the GIF below, I can't really handle anything. That's what I've learned over time I guess lol. That's just what it seems like at least.

Over my thanksgiving break I worked a LOT. I worked forty-something hours in five days. I technically got paid for more than sixty though, because one of the days was double-time and a half, which was pretty neat. Of course a bunch of it will probably go to this school. Somebody has to help pay for it, and I drew the short straw this time.

I went and watched Bohemian Rhapsody over break as well. Definitely worth the wait and watch. That was one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. In the words of Ferris Bueller, as that seems to be the common theme here, "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up." One being a copy of the movie of course

I've been thinking about life recently, and I've figured out that I can relate to Cameron Frye. Some might not see it, and some of you might not even know who that is, but for some reason, I just kinda see myself in him a little bit, and I can't really pin-point it..

On to happier things.

I'm getting a roommate second semester. He's a really cool dude, so I'm looking forward to it actually...

Uh.

I probably will not be doing FSO's on this post, as it's my first time back, but expect them on the next post for sure. Sorry to let you down.

We are learning about the assassination of JFK in one of my classes, so that's really interesting. We aren't supposed to talk to anybody about it, but this is technically talking to my computer, so that's a little bit of a loop hole I would say lol

If there's one thing that I would want you to take from this post, as it's my first one in a while, it would be that you can do anything. We spend so much of our lives not trying to do things just because we're told that we can't, or will never be able to, accomplish something that big. Well guess what?

That's probably what they told Einstein too.

And Thomas Edison

And Dr. Seuss

And Ben Carson

And Neil Armstrong

And legitimately anybody else who's made it big out there

You have to throw yourself out there. Find out if you can. Take that risk. It's worth it.

One last time, I quote Cameron Frye:

Don't be afraid of what can happen in your future just because of the risk involved. I hate to use this terribly over-used saying, but Just Do It. Don't let your dreams be dreams.

It's not worth it.

Now to convince myself of this lol

Goodnight dudes.

Until next time.
