Things to Be Happy About

Welcome back to Behind My Face, Above My Throat

I hope that you're here for a good time, and not just because you feel like you have to be here. Because that would be embarrassing for both of us.

So I figured I'd write out another post tonight. I was looking at the posts that I had already made, and thought to myself:

Why do I have one about annoyances, but not things to be happy about?

So yeah. This is going to be me just listing off a bunch of things that make me happy, or things that you should be happy about.. Don't even think about leaving right now. Thanks.

1. My first choice said yes to going to SA Banquet with me (hallelujah)

2. The flower in the picture that goes along with this ( Look at that precision )

3. "The Joy of Painting" with Bob Ross ( no mistakes, just happy accidents )

4. The satisfying click that the mouse makes when you click on something ( *click* )

5. When you time your laundry so perfectly, no clothes are dirty for a bit ( score )

6. Puns in general ( they're wonderful )

7. You're alive ( if you're dead, please stop reading this )

8. The 22 people subscribed to my blogs mailing list ( feel guilty if you aren't one )

9. Pillows ( and the fact that somebody was like "Nope, I need a cloud right here" )

10. Thunderstorms (only when you're inside)

11. Chilling outside on a blanket in the summer sun ( no spiders of course )

12. Finishing a book or TV series ( preferably a long one, not a 100 page book lol )

13. Johnny Depp ( just in general )

14. The name 'Goosebumps' ( not the book series )

15. Watching goosebumps form when you get cold or chilled suddenly (am I weird?)

16. Painting. Not watercolor. Like painting a wall or somethin' (maybe watercolor)

17. Subtitles ( even though sometimes they are completely unnecessary )

18. Plastic bottles or jugs that don't have dents in them ( they're underappreciated )

19. Having your lines memorized for a play ( you feel mad accomplished )

20. The satisfying snap of a KitKat bar ( when they actually *snap* )

21. The "Real people. Not actors." in Chevy commercials ( we all know the truth )

22. A blanket fresh out of the dryer ( it's basically an angels cape for a few minutes )

I'm stopping at twenty-two for now, as this is the twenty-second post, and I thought it might be cool to do it like that.

( I'm actually just running out of ideas, and a little tired )

Uh....

One of the posts on this blog reached 70 views. That was pretty cool. I probably contributed like ten of those, but I mean, hey.. 60 is still a pretty big number right?

I don't legitimately know what I was expecting when I started this blog. I didn't exactly expect it to go viral or anything.. It's basically just me running around campus telling people to read my diary..

I know that I say this a lot, but I love it when you guys show your support. Even if it's just liking the shared link on Facebook, or reading it in general. I see more than you think lol.

It can just get a little bit depressing when you see the views go up, but you don't know who's making 'em go. Think about it this way. If my mom is the only one that shows signs of life, how do I know that she isn't just chilling at home hitting F5 ( refresh ) like 62 times or whatever?

I digress.

Random Bible fact, but somebody brought up this point at Dorm Worship a few nights ago, and I would just like to talk about it.

So you know King David? And how he had his Mighty Men? You know how freaking' ridiculous these dudes were? The chapter devoted to them is basically a Chuck Norris joke compilation, but historically sound. Not only that, but it names all 37 of them.

Really though. Actually do it. It's insane.

That's really it. It kinda went everywhere for the last little bit, but that's okay.

We covered some cool stuff.
