Weddings and Such

So, here's the thing. I always think to myself after I post on here, that I'm going to write more often, and post even more often, and etc. That being said, that never happens, and here we are, with my last update having happened in March. I always have such lame excuses too. Like "Oh, I was, uhhhh... working?" and other such things.

So, since you guys expect an excuse, here's this posts' excuse: I was in Florida.

Now, this one might not actually count as an excuse. Think of it as time-off from blog writing in order to collect inspiration and writing fuel.

That being said, it was my brothers wedding, and I'm gonna tell you about it. Not necessarily every single detail, more of a brief look at it, with my thoughts on weddings, the future again, and other fun things.

Rewind back to the first post I made. My brother's a super-soldier. While he might not have gotten all of what he is from a little bottle and German scientist, I think that's what makes it that much more special. Everything that he is, he's done himself. And seeing him the way he is right now, makes it impressive. He's happy. His wife is happy. More importantly, they're happy. It's the best, and I'm not even one of the two in that couple.

I promise I won't go all mushy-gushy on you guys.

That being said, weddings are wonderful things. There's all the metaphors about the two sands mixing and never being parted ever again, and so on and so forth, but I mean, let's be honest. People these days sure seem to find a way to split that sand again.

So thus I present a new metaphor:

Getting married is basically adding a second player to the video game called Life. Yeah, you might be able to make it through with just yourself, but it's more fun with somebody else. Sure, you can give them the boot, or they can drop out themselves, but when it's two-player, you've gotta look out for both, or the game of Life only gets harder.

Room for improvements in that analogy, but you know what, nothing's perfect. Moving on from the wedding thing.

In other news, my current new school is trying to screw me over academically

I had one semester left of high school when I switched over, and so maximum, there would be like three or four classes I would need, if that, considering I was only previously taking two that I needed to graduate.

Basically, I needed Government and Spanish.

So, I ask the person in charge there how many more I need to graduate, and she's like, "Oh yeah, I can tell you right now!", and then waits three days. And then on the fourth day, she goes "So, you basically just need to retake Junior and Senior year" and leaves. I don't actually have to, but they think that I need 12 more credits or something wack like that?

So yeah, that's what I'm working on and through right now.

I miss some people from my last school. Not a lot, but some.

To name a few:

The Head of Maintenance

The Science Teacher

The Boys Task Force Dean

The Volunteers in the Learning Center

The Spanish Teacher

The Histories Teacher

James

Samuel

A bunch of other dudes I don't have the time or readers interest to list out

Those are the ones I'm really feelin right now though. Miss you all. I promise I'll either visit, or see you on long tour.

To those reading this, I hope that your present and future is everything you want it to be. You deserve it, but you have to work at it too. Remember that.

To those who just scrolled past this link in their feed, clearly uninterested, you don't deserve to find this.

Little harsh, but fitting I think...

Anyway, I love you all, and though I can't promise I'll post more often, I'll promise that when I do, it's worth it.
